Auchincloss Sworn Into 117th Congress
Washington, D.C. — Today, Jake Auchincloss was sworn into the 117th Congress to represent the 4th District of Massachusetts. The following quote can be attributed to Congressman Auchincloss:
“It is the honor of a lifetime to represent the people of the Massachusetts 4th. During this Congress we have a tremendous responsibility to end the COVID-19 pandemic and begin rebuilding an economy that works for everyone: working families, women, communities of color, and small businesses.
We also have a unique opportunity - with a new presidential administration - to move past the chaos and discord of the last four years and start tackling the challenges that will define my generation: climate change, racial injustice, and inequity in opportunity.”
Congressman Auchincloss has been appointed to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and, as previously reported, he will be maintaining the District Offices in Newton and Attleboro previously occupied by former Congressman Joe Kennedy. His Capitol Hill Office is located in 1524 Longworth House Office Building. An additional Committee assignment will be announced in the coming days. Earlier this week, Congressman Auchincloss announced senior staff hires with more staff to be joining his team in the coming weeks.
