U.S. Rep. Auchincloss In Milford For Town Hall
Milford-area residents in U.S. Rep. Jake Auchincloss' district can talk about federal issues on Saturday morning.
MILFORD, MA — Milford residents will get a chance to meet with U.S. Rep. Jake Auchincloss during the Newton Democrat's swing across his district on Saturday.
Auchincloss will make his first stop Saturday at Milford Town Hall. His stop in Milford comes after President Joe Biden released a proposed $6.8 trillion federal budget, which will have to pass through Congress.
"Auchincloss will discuss recent developments in Congress and take audience questions," his office said in a news release about the event.
Auchincloss was elected in 2021, replacing former congressman Joe Kennedy III. His 4th Congressional District cuts a thin path from Newton southwest to Franklin and west to Milford and the Rhode Island border; the district also stretches south from Foxborough to Fall River.
The Auchincloss town hall in Milford is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. He'll then travel to Attleborough for a 12:30 p.m. town hall and a third one in Fall River at 2:30 p.m.
