Promoting climate action & clean energy
As the youngest parent in the Democratic caucus, the responsibility of policymakers to the next generation is especially personal to me. Building on the historic investments in clean energy & climate action of the 117th Congress, the United States must meet its commitments under the Paris Climate Accords. We must achieve a future of clean air, clean water, and clean energy that is too cheap to meter.
I am a strong proponent of clean energy technology, including fusion and fission, hot-rock geothermal, solar, battery Research and Development, and offshore wind.
Offshore wind is especially important to southeastern Massachusetts, which has the potential to be North America’s offshore wind hub, and I have taken a leading role in advancing the industry’s development.
