Tri-County Voc Topping Off Held Friday
Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical School picked the brightest of bright sunny days to stage their "topping off" ceremony, the placement of the topmost I-beam in the new school building's structure.
On hand for the occasion was almost everyone involved in politics or in the school within its district, including Congressman Jake Auchincloss, who was one of the speakers, below, flanked by Wrentham State Rep Marcus Vaughn, and Franklin State Rep. Jeff Roy.
As the event got underway under the guidance of Superintendent Karen Maguire, dignitaries and others in attendance took turns autographing the beam. Below, Medway's long-time and now former Tri-County School Committee representative, Tracy Stewart, signs her name. It is not clear why Stewart wasn't reappointed. The New Medway representative is Gibb Phenegar.
Also in attendance were both of Franklin's School Committee members, Dr. Jennifer D’Angelo and Dr. Peter Wiernicki.
